History we Don’t Know

In a previous post I spoke about how we today seem to misunderstand our ancient knowledge. Here I want to get more into it and also push out some facts that might be interesting.

I am not a historian, archeologist, or anything of this science. It is just my interest and hobby, and like any hobby, we dive into all the books and papers we can collect, and suck in all the facts. Some would think, to what end? Honestly there is no end, i just want to know ALL.

First of all something I’ve realized years ago (and I’m not the only one) is that if you look at most or maybe close to all of our ancient civilizations, they all almost tell the same story. The same story of how they came to be. From the America’s to Africa, to the Middle East, all these stories have the same base, with different flavors. I guess one would think in the time of oral tradition, the same story was given to all at one point. But because of cultural influences, and environment, small parts of the story were edited to better apply to those specific people. The basic story all boils down too, someone came down from the sky and made humans, these same people then taught us the things we know today, left us guidelines on how to live, and returned to the sky. All also speak of a day that they would return for some sort of judgment. Most cultures in the America’s describe these people as being white skin color, which brought much confusion when the Spanish Christians first arrived to South America. The natives greeted them with open arms, offering them gifts, and showing them all that they have achieved, not knowing that these people were not the Gods, but in fact their downfall.

This is not the only similarity in these global ancient cultures; another similarity is the building styles of the time. We all know about the ancient pyramids of Giza, but these are not the only ones. There are ancient pyramids all over the world, in almost every continent. Here are a few: America’s, Africa, China, and even some in Europe.

To give an example:

–          Egypt : Pyramids of Giza

–          Mexico : Chichen Itza

–          Sudan : Nubian Pyramids (Meroe)

–          China : The White Pyramid, Qin Ling Shan mountains

–          North America : Platform Mounds

–          Europe : Bosnian Pyramids

Now one might think, ok an ancient culture centering in possibly Africa, might be able to spread its idea’s through Europe, the Middle East, and as far as Asia. But the problem is; how did they cross the Atlantic Ocean? Today we understand that cultures such as ancient Egypt did not possess any sort of sea vessels that would be able to travel that distance, and the same goes for Mesoamerican cultures. So my conclusions to this are, there was either some sort of bridge for them to cross over (and I don’t mean the Bering Strait), or there were civilizations before the ones we know today that settled in those locations, and were able to cross these vast distances for work or pleasure, or a combination of both.

The meaning of a bridge in my mind represents more the idea that there was a land mass between Africa and the America’s creating a bridge from which to cross and trade. In today’s ancient cultures there is not much evidence of trade between the Atlantic, but this might have taken place before the cultures we know today. Now many people know this theory as the Atlantis theory, meaning that the landmass that made the connection was the Atlantis culture itself. If this is true this would also explain the reason why all these cultures so far apart share such similarities. This is because Atlantis (from the stories) would have been the main “place to be” in those times. The main question here is, did it actually exist, and if so where did it go?

Another possiblilty:

There is much evidence that suggests that before the end of the last ice age, there were advanced and booming great civilizations. We find this evidence in stories as well as archeological evidence. As mentioned before, we have many under water pyramids and even more, entire cities at depths that could have only been above water in the last ice age when sea levels were lower. Now again I will give some dates to make this clearer, the last ice age is estimated to be 110,000 to 10,000 years ago. Now we today have modern humans leaving Africa at some 50,000 to 100,000 years ago, slowly moving into Europe and Asia as hunter gatherers. Now if we dismiss the scientific fact of age of man, and age of coming out of Africa, (as we cannot definitely say this is accurate. Every year we find new bones, and we have to change the story a bit, so there is uncertainty). Then we can say that maybe man is in fact older than we thought, and not only older as in, we were bush people in those times, but we were actually sophisticated, intelligent, people creating societies on a grand scale.

Now, how can one tie this in with everything else? (This is an idea shared by many people)  in the way past before the end of the last ice age there was a great civilization on earth, much like we have today, a civilization that was tied together. The global society collapsed for whatever reason be it war, disease, global warming, or something from outside earth.

Ice age Earth at glacial maximum. Based on:

Image via Wikipedia

(Now this is my idea) One interesting idea that comes to my mind is the natural glacial periods. Ok let me better explain myself: The last glacial period was 110,000 to 10,000 years ago. The Glacial Maximum period, meaning the time that it was the coldest, and the ice sheets covered most of North America, Europe, and Asia was 26,000 to 19,000 years ago. So in my math, this civilization would form….let’s guess here and say 20,000 years ago or older. What I’m trying to say here is that the civilizations must have been booming in a time before this Glacial Maximum period. If we say 19,000 years ago was the worst years, then we say these civilizations are 19,000 years and older. Ok, now to the next step. Because of this glacial maximum period many things happened on earth, the sea levels dropped, there was drought, and once lush places turned to desert. This can be a huge reason why this global civilization could have fallen. All civilizations would have existed with some sort of structure, if that structure were to collapse, people were going hungry, animals were dying, people would either begin to move to new locations, or revolt against the let’s say governments (who knows what kind of infrastructure they had). Most if not all people would have left the cities trying to fend for themselves, find food, and shelter from this ever worsening weather and environment. The only shelters that would seem best fitting would be caves:  a sort of survival mode would set in. They would have to hunt for food, and invent tools that they once had, but now must create once more with simple stones. The animal skins they would have to use for clothing as it is so cold, and in their boring days and nights sheltering from storms, they would paint on the cave walls. Sound familiar? No? I’m talking about the cave people. If looking at ourselves today and how spoiled we have become, we also would have difficulty surviving in the wild. Not everyone knows how to build shelters from the cold using what nature provides, not all of us would know how to build sophisticated tools. Because we at this point have everything made for us, and we don’t have to learn the crafts personally. Finally the world began to warm once more around 13,000 to 10,000 years ago. The ice sheets that covered the northern hemisphere began to recede, giving way to a new age.

Now this is where what we know today comes in: when the ice began to melt people slowly began to come out of their caves. They began to venture out in the world once again and slowly made little towns, which led to entire cities. Some of these people knew that it was important to carry on all that their ancestors knew in the past (before the glacial maximum). During the glacial maximum this ancient knowledge would be passed down orally through the families. Later, when they could once more create a structured society they began to document the knowledge of their past as best they could. And in this time is when we get the ancient Egyptian civilization, the Sumerians, the Norte Chico, all these civilizations that our science today calls ancient are just the remnants of an even more ancient civilization that was devastated. The best part is, is that we have proof of this, as most or all of these civilizations speak of this information being from a time long before their own. Meaning, the information that they documented, was information from their ancestors.

Now, one would think: if little ‘ol me can figure this out, why isn’t it in any of our history books. This is a good question, and it has room for many answers seeing as there are none. My best guess is that if all these things were to be branded as true fact, then the sections of this history of sky people visitations, and human creation by these sky people would also have to be branded as true fact. And seeing how through the years we have been made to think that these ancient myths are folklore and mother goose stories, we would understand that the human race is so much more than a natural accident of Mother Nature, or a creation of God. Society would flip over, and many people would be totally confused. We would not only realize that we are the children of some other race, but also realize that we aren’t alone. People will begin to either run around in fear like headless chickens, or begin to call these ancient creators and tell them to come back. We will begin to disobey our leaders, because at this point we will realize we are as small as them, and in fact our true leaders are in the sky somewhere. Society would fall apart, so this to me is the best reason I can think of to why this kind of information is being withheld.

Now believe me, I am not implying what I say is the truth, it is my best conclusion after many years of research (many years in my short 25 year life).

Thank you for reading, hope you got this far. Please leave a comment if you have a better idea, or will like to challenge mine. I am always open for discussion, we only learn more if we learn together.

Life Beyond this Rock

At this day and age we are slowly being groomed into the idea that life might actually exist outside our planet. Just 15 years ago this idea was a joke, just as 500 years ago the idea that the world was round. It is not such a difficult thing to believe, life on other planets are 100% possible, and my only proof is that WE are here, we exist

We seem to have this idea throughout history that we are special. At first we thought we are the center of the solar system, then we thought we are the center of the galaxy. Having found the true facts of this matter we slowly realize that we aren’t at all that special.

The Whirlpool Galaxy (Spiral Galaxy M51, NGC 5...

Image via Wikipedia

Now is the time that we will slowly realize that we are not the only ones. Still to this day, this idea is a joke to some people, aliens, spaceships…humbug, this is impossible. To see how possible this is we must first understand how BIG the universe is.

If you were in a space ship that was facing our galaxy, every point of light you see is a star. There are approximately 100 billion stars in our galaxy, to make it to a scale more understandable, there are as much stars in our galaxy as all the grains of sand on our planet. Now, if you turn your ship facing the rest of space and looked out the window, every point of light at this angle are not stars, but in fact they are galaxies. There are 100’s of billions of galaxies with 100’s of billions of stars in each.

From what we understand today, most stars have planets revolving around them. Some have entire solar systems as we do. While looking at these numbers, and trying to think of the chance that life can exist on another planet isn’t all that bizarre. How life begins is a whole other question, be it god, or primordial soup it doesn’t really matter, what matter is, is that it starts.

The problem that we have today is that we assume that for any life to exist it must have earth like conditions, meaning a planet in a goldy locks zone, not too hot not too cold, and it would have to have liquid water. This is where we make a mistake, we take what we know (earth) and make a model of it, and assume that it would be the same everywhere else. The most contradicting evidence that proves this fact wrong is found funnily on earth itself. There are life forms on earth that live outside of this model we have created. They live in temperatures that we thought unbearable for life, in places that have no liquid water, or oxygen, and in some instances caves that have zero sunlight. So with this evidence life does not need the basic things we need to form. There might be planets with gasoline oceans, and Helium air and life could flourish on it. The main job of life is to strive and survive, things will adapt to make sure they can live on where they are.

Now when we can all settle with the fact, Yes, there is life beyond earth, the question then becomes; why haven’t we met anyone yet

Some argue that this might be because of the distances of space, the probability of another race getting to the technological point of being able to travel these distances, and even the argument of why would they.

My first response to this is, we cannot assume that it isn’t possible to travel vast distances in space. We already at this point have theories (like wormholes) that would make this possible. If there was a race even 10,000 years older than we are, that felt that they wanted to conquer space then there is no telling what they might have created for the job. Some might argue that there are limits to what man (aliens) can create and accomplish technologically. I disagree to this argument, i think that any race that is actively inventing, and creating new technologies are an imaginative race. They see problems in front of them, and actively come up with solutions that best fit the list of their needs. Meaning, a race will never stop invention, and creation to increase their technologies, as long as problems and questions remain.

Another response to this is, if looking at myself as an alien coming to earth; it would always be wiser to first sit and watch something that you’ve discovered rather than jumping in it without any idea of what it is, or might do. I think that any alien civilization that might visit earth would do just this, as I hope they would be intelligent enough. They would before engagement, just sit and watch what we do on a daily basis, how our civilization functions as a whole. But, if this has happened, why haven’t they made contact? Well, it is an easy thing to guess, who would want to make contact with us? We can’t even get along with each other, how will we get along with them. So I am sure they just put us on a list of habited planet, and zoom off far away from this crazy crazy race of things.

We also add the fact that maybe before they even got to that point technologically, they probably killed themselves in some major war. But again we take what we know, and think everyone else is the same. It is not impossible that there is a race that knew no war, it is something that is alien to them. And the last question, why would they come here: I think that if there was a race that felt the need to build ships to travel t

o space, then they wouldn’t go just to float around, they would be going to explore, conquer, or make friends, which ever they intended. But then seeing how big space is, how would they find us? One might think we are quietly sitting here in the middle of a space jungle, but actually for many years we are giving signals that we are here. This would be one idea, but then again because we don’t know the true answer, any answer that the mind can imagine might in fact be correct. My favorite answer for this is, they always knew we were here, from the beginnings of beginnings, and this we can find back in man ancient civilizations (but this is another story).

We must though be careful with what we are doing. At this point we might be thinking a bit too naive that everyone out there wants to be our friends. I am sure that there are some that do, but I’m sure that there are also some that are born and bread to kill and eat. Right now we are sending out signals to every corner of the universe, “Hello can you hear us?”. It can be compared to a child using the internet, broadcasting her name, age and address. Now we all know what kind of people might come knocking at her door. This is something we must be careful about, and begin to rethink the strategy.

Everything is possible, until it is proven impossible.

Ow How Primitive We Are

The lives that we live today, doesn’t leave much time for us to sit and think. We all have jobs that eat most of our daily energy, mentally and/or physically. By the time we get home and have dinner it’s already almost time to go back to bed, and lets not begin if your a family with children.

With technology such as television, radio, and internet the world has made things much easier for us. After working half to death we can simply switch on the television, and watch the stories of what you missed through the day, as the news. We switch on our computers and begin some kind of human interaction that we rather do than stepping outside with our neighbors. Some of us even turn on the computer and enter other realities in computer games.

Now one can argue that this is just the result of our technology, and lifestyles. But that doesn’t make it a right thing to do or way to be. Because of our lack of human interaction, interactions with nature, and even interaction with our selves, we begin to feel empty as if we are missing something. To fill this emptiness we go out and buy things to make our selves feel better, others drink, others do drugs. The hole that is within us cannot be filled with these material things, this is why some people get depressed. But the world has thought of a perfect cure for that as well, instead of trying to work on your problem, find who you are, and what makes you sad…let’s just prescribe you some drugs, that in turn would probably ruin your life more.

We create all these differences between one another, race, sex, country, and financial status. We make wars with those who are or think different than us. We are all humans living on a planet, but actually we don’t know how to live with each other. We reject the fact that we all bleed, we all have hopes, we all are made of  bone and flesh. Could it be human nature? Maybe, but that doesn’t mean that we cannot be better. We go to war with countries that have different ideas on how to run THEIR country, we go to war with people who have other idea’s about god. If you really sit and think about it, it really shows that we made no progress in our advancement from 1000 years ago. How childish and small we are to think the way we do. But honestly i cannot blame humanity as a whole, it is the things we see one the news, the things we hear on the radio, the things we read in the papers. These things manipulate our minds to think how “they” want us to think.

When a white child is set next to a black child, they don’t know they are any different. They both like to play with that toy, they both laugh at a parents funny face. To them the difference doesn’t matter. It is when we get older, and the differences are placed in our faces that we begin to dwell on these differences. Stereotypes, religion, and racial matters all play a big role in how we begin to see each other in a different light, and begin to split up in groups.

I don’t understand why we are how we are, why we cannot live together in peace to create a better world. In all honesty the only time this might happen is if we were to experience an alien invasion, in less than a second we would forget our differences and say “Hey” this is our planet, it is us and them. Of course we now create a new difference, but at least now we see our selves more as one. Because we know nothing more than our selves we will always find differences amongst each other.

We have to understand that just because Bob thinks differently that i do, doesn’t make Bob wrong. It means Bob has a different idea than i do, isn’t it his right? Just as it is my right to think how i think.

We also have this idea of thinking that we know all that is, and all that is what we know is correct. For example, we understand today that anything that has mass cannot travel faster than the speed of light. But how can we be so accurate on this assumption? 500 years ago we were so certain that the world was flat, and that we were the center of the solar system.

In my eyes we are babies in this vast amazing universe, and we don’t deserve to be a part of it in this state. If we cannot even live with each other as one race, how can we live with other races? But because of our arrogance we will think that we DESERVE to be apart of the universe. It is quiet funny actually how simple, and small minded humans are.

We’ve created borders around countries to make a statement that this is our country. Those who live within it are of that country, and those who enter are alien to that country. We call it patriotism, another way of being that just sets us apart from the rest of the world. Pride in ones country that they are better than the rest, but why? Is this not our world? You can see how silly this is. But one would argue, that to keep control of immigration one must set these rules in place. But why is this a problem? America is a country build on immigrants, and yet they have one of the tightest immigration laws. If all countries, made sure that they provided every need to their people, why would they feel the need to immigrate? Instead of investing to much money on immigration controls, spend it on helping other countries fix their infrastructure. Simple things that would make a difference.

Ancient Knowledge Misunderstood

In every history book you can find amazing tales of people in the past, their mythical gods, and strange ceremonies. The image that we today have of these ancient civilizations to me is incorrect.

In my opinion it is important that we drop what we know, or think we know and really look at this once more. We seem to have this picture that ancient man was simple, un-educated, and just bushy hunter gatherers who one day decided to build a pyramid.

Why would ancient people who in my opinion seem to be wiser than we are today make up stories to just be stories? I am sure they also enjoyed the luxuries of theater and music, but as we do now, i think they would understand the difference.

We must see them as we see ourselves today, humans were always humans. Our brains today are the same as they were 8000 years ago. The only difference is, they understood how to live at one with the earth. They knew that the earth had everything they needed to survive. They also understood the natural balances around us, something that we today have lost. In my opinion this is one of the key points to label a civilization as intelligent. One who knows how to live with the planet it is on. Today we walk on this world without the slightest idea of its natural cycles, and harmonies. Some might debate that indeed we at this point are more advanced; “look at our technology” they will say. But then again for what purpose do we need all these things? It adds nothing to life; it’s all just a distraction (something that might also decide a civilizations status).

I think the most important question is: what happened to us? In the age of Sumer, Ancient Egypt, etc we were truly knowledgeable, we had great understanding of the skies, and earth, and made great achievements in technology. These understandings would carry on slightly through the Ancient Greek times. But what is strange is: how or why did we lose this information and understanding? If we look at it, through the years the amount of information being carried on seemed to be diminishing slowly until the big dip of the dark ages. We were living in huts with no sewage, it was a luxury to be able to read and write, or take a bath. We thought the world was flat while 5000 years before we knew otherwise, and even more amazing we knew the movements of the heavens and could track time through natural orders. How can one go from understanding time through the stars, knowing the world is round, and there are other stars and worlds out there, to thinking the world is flat and urinating in potty’s? It makes absolutely no sense; did we get hit by a stupid stick? THIS to me is the most important question. Not if “was ancient man as smart as some claim”, but what the hell happened to what we knew?

Ok, there are many things I can factor in to this that might be logical, Christianity being one. This new idea spread across Europe after the persecutions of Christians ended under the reign of Emperor Constantine (313AD). In the times following this, the Roman Empire fell in the 5th century, which led to the fall of the western Roman empire, which in turn led to the early middle ages (dark ages) 500-1000AD. This is only one idea but the basic idea here is that, things just seemed to go downhill from this point. Could it be something that happens all the time? Meaning, we once had much knowledge, and we lose it all and start over?

The Lost Kingdom of Mu, Yonaguni, Japan.

Image via Wikipedia

I truly believe that we go back longer than we think we do. The oldest known written records we have found at this point are cuneiform from Mesopotamia (30th century BC). The oldest known ruin that we know of is Gobekli Tepe in Turkey, which (at this point) dates to 11,000 years ago (9th millennium BC). But this is as far any history book will go, there are some things that are being left out, and to me they are the most important, and least studied. Ancient sites like the Yonaguni monument in Japan, which is a temple that is obviously man made. The debate is if it was entirely man made, or was it a natural structure that was modified by humans, which in any case would put it as, a monument that was touched by man. A few more: Bay of Cambay off the shores of India. Signs of an ancient city, there is a disputed piece of wood that was found and dated some ~8000BC, the dispute is that you cannot date the city by a piece of wood, but others say that because 20,000 years ago the Sea of Arabia was 100 meters lower than today, that any wood found would be remnants of ancient forests at that time. In any case there are tons of these underwater sites, the point is that our dating put modern man to some 10,000bc at the most, meanin

g that when man began to build vast cities, and learn agriculture after moving out of caves. But my point is, if these cities are under the water, did they build them under water? Or, where they built at a time when the sea levels were lower. I think the 2nd point makes the most sense. This would date all these sites around the time of the last ice age, which is estimated to be around 110,000 to 10,000 years ago. After this the ice melted and gave us the coast lines we have today. This can be quite damaging since our todays estimates place us “coming out of Africa” 70,000 to 50,000 years ago. (I will go through my thoughts on human evolution in another blog, also very interesting).

To conclude this long and drawn out story, and I hope you’ve all made it to this point. The history that we have been taught to learn might be a bit tainted. Many stones have been left unturned, and many questions unanswered. There is much information that we have sitting in our hands but we don’t seem to want to touch it. It is important to know who we are, to understand where we are going.

The Truth

With all the open questions in the world, it is not strange to wonder what actually is the truth.

Before any answers are told i think it’s important to first understand what one is asking, and if the answer is something that can be accepted. We live in a world that we don’t understand, but a world that is perfectly created for us not to want to understand. This is the most scary aspect of this all. Why aren’t more people asking questions?

Why are we here? Are we alone? Why is the world how it is? These questions boggle my mind, but boggle enough to keep looking for answers.

I think it is important for everyone to find a point in their understanding, and break off from everything you knew, and start again. Forget what you where taught in school, forget what you hear and read in the news. It is important for you as an individual to investigate and formulate your own answers.

A thought is what created the world as we know it today. A thought!!! So with this, a thought can never be wrong. The universe is filled with infinite possibilities, any logical answer to a question might be correct, until the truth is revealed.

With this i want to promote free, and individual thinking. Take the time and investigate the questions that boggle your mind. Do not trust others to do it for you.

And remember anything is possible, who are we to say it isn’t.
